HOUSTON - For decades, texas-based trail ride groups have made the week-long arduous trek to Houston for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Every year, these living (and galloping) Texas traditions have rode passed Catholic schools and parishes in the Archdiocese, including St. Ambrose in Houston. Both the Prairie View and Sam Houston trail riders greeted parishioners and students, with the Plantersville-based Sam Houston group making their daily lunch pit stop on the church grounds.
